My story

PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Gyro is a 10-year-old Doodle with a heart full of love. This sweet senior boy is loyal, laid back, and oh-so-loving. He may not know commands (and honestly, he’s not interested in learning them), but what he does know is how to be the best little shadow you could ever ask for. Gyro loves following his person around the house and then curling up beside them when it’s time to relax. Despite being mostly blind and deaf, Gyro gets around just fine and doesn’t let it stop him from living his best life. He’s crate trained, house trained, good with kids and dogs, and just wants a calm, cozy place to spend his golden years. Gyro’s Dream Home: He would thrive in a quieter environment with a small family or even a sweet grandma or grandpa who would love a loyal companion by their side. His only request is no cats, please! A word from his foster: “Gyro is a very sweet and loyal dog. He will follow you around the house and then cozy up to you once you sit down. He’s about 75% potty trained, but overall he’s such an easygoing, lovable boy. Even though his sight and hearing are impaired, it doesn’t stop him from being the perfect companion.” If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal senior pup to keep you company, Gyro is your guy. Adoption FEE: $200 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
