My story

Meet Tobias!Sweet soul Tobias is looking forward to meeting his fur-ever person or family! Tobias is thought to be a 5-year-oldish Beagle mixed pup. This pup enjoys cuddling and staying close to his humans. He is a gentle guy and usually calm, but has impressed us and made us laugh the few times he has sprinted around the backyard at top speeds. He can be a little timid around new people but seems great with kids. We introduced him to a cat and he didn`t seem interested. He`s gotten along with our dog, but doesn`t seem overly interested in her either....he would likely do well as an only pup or would be content with other dogs. He has a lil naughty streak and needs to be reminded to not put his paws on the counter or table, but is doing much better. He is mostly house trained...we previously found a few puddles but with frequent outside breaks, he is doing well. Not much of a barker at all...we have only heard that distinct beagle bark once or twice for just a quick moment. His leash walking skills have come a long way, but he still wants to take many sniff breaks. From his big soft ears to his smiley face, Tobias is sure to win over hearts and be an amazing and loyal companion.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt.
