My story

 Meet our Pointer mix, Pokey !  He`s a whirling ball of puppy energy when he gets out of his kennel, but at approximately 6 months old, he is right on schedule to have some youngster energy that he needs to expend. Once he can get some of his zoomies out, he loves to lie down next to his human friends, enjoying the view and doling out kisses. He is pretty calm for a puppy, and when faced with distractions, he doesn`t bark at dogs or people going past his yard. He is sharing a kennel with his sister Sassy. We believe they are Pointer mixes, and Pointers are an active breed that would probably do well as a future hiking or jogging buddy. For now, he`s doing his job, just being his adorable self. Come meet Pokey today, and see if you meet your new best friend :)To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
