My story

POPPY - 1-5 years old, 58 pounds, house trained, friendly, good on leash   Poppy  arrived at the shelter when her owner passed away.   She is a pretty girl with dark brindle fur, white fur along her chest, tummy and paws, and always a smile on her face and a wiggle from her body.   Although she came in with another dog (Big Boy) we are told they should be kept separate. This is something to be aware of bc while outside she seemed very interested in the dogs playing in the next yard.   While we learn more about Poppy and how she feels about other dogs, we will look for a home where she can be the only pet.   Poppy is excited to go outside and loves to run! She loves to go for walks as well and is good on the leash.   Her aura is that of a lively and enthusiastic girl ready for a loving family to take her on adventures, walks, and car rides.   Poppy is currently in a back kennel so if you come in to meet her and don't see her, please just ask.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 1, 2025, 6:30 am
