My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.I would do best in a home with only adult humans.A volunteer writes: Snuggled up under her blanket, it looks like Nabi's trying to wish the day away. Each day brings visitors who want nothing more than to reach a helping hand out to someone who could very much use it, but Nabi doesn't always see it that way. She was brought to us when her guardian went into care and though we don't know much about her life before coming to the shelter, we'd lovingly leap at the chance to learn about Nabi now. Except, she hasn't really wanted to tell us very much. She'll allow some pets, but mostly hopes you'll see past the blanket she uses to comfort herself and into her heart where she's really only asking for a chance.
