My story

My name is Callie!  I'm a pretty, red and white Australian Cattle Dog mix born on April 20, 2025, I'm around 3.5 month of age and weigh around 18 to 20 pounds. My pictures make me look like a full grown dog but I'm just a puppy about the size of a Jack Russel Terrier. I'm at that ideal age where I'm more focused than a young puppy and eager to please, which makes me a quick learner. I have longish legs and an athletic build and while I enjoy playing with my siblings I'm probably medium energy. My favorite thing is getting love and praise from my humans. I thrive on that.   As a Cattle Dog mix, I come with some pretty amazing traits! I’m smart as a whip (seriously, I catch on fast), super loyal, and always paying attention to the people I love. I have that classic Cattle Dog combo of brains and heart — which means I’ll be your devoted companion, your best listener, and your adventure buddy, all in one. I’m already showing signs of being eager to please and love interacting with my people. My foster mom is so proud of me for catching on to house training in about 3 days. See, I told you I'm smart! I'm also used to a crate but of course I don't want to spend all day in there. I’m still just a pup, so I love to explore, learn, and play — and I can’t wait to discover the world with my forever family. Whether it’s going for a walk,  just hanging out or curling up after a fun-filled day, I’m ready to be by your side through it all. If you’re looking for a best friend who’s smart, devoted, and full of potential, I think we might be a perfect match.
