My story

Cricketdew A17676358 lb. spayed female, approx 2 years old -She can be a little shy and nervous to start-Once she was more comfortable, she started to do zoomies and get playful with me-When I sat on the floor she came right over and pressed into me for pets-Gives kisses once she’s relaxed-She also enjoys a good snuggle session!-She seems very puppyish still but she’s trying and she really enjoys attention-She likes treats and takes them nicely. Still working on “sit”.-She loves wiggling around on her back on the blankets-She’s a fun playful girl but not currently playing with toys-She walks very nicely with no pulling-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
