My story

Funland A17674542 lb. spayed female, approx 1 year old -She can be just a little timid to start-She loves to be close for pets and belly rubs once comfortable! She will lay there all day for belly rubs!-She also loves toys and grabbed a Nylabone as soon as we got out into the yard. Carried it around with her. Then she got a stuffie and carried that around too! -Seems she loves all toys! Chases and brings back balls as well. She’s fun!-She also likes treats, sits and takes them very gently-Once she’s comfortable she gives little kisses-Low to medium energy right now-She walks nicely on a leash-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
