My story

Mattie is a very friendly, silly, and sweet 5-year-old English Bulldog and Rat Terrier mix who is looking for a new beginning. She was originally rescued from the Baldwin Park City Shelter and adopted from Shelter Hope four years ago. Since then, she has been a loyal and loving companion. Sadly, her owner now has Alzheimer’s and recently suffered a stroke and can no longer care for her. Mattie is playful, gentle, and very well socialized. She gets along great with other dogs and loves being around people. She enjoys walks, rolling in the grass, getting pets, and showing off her big, goofy smile. She’s also a bit chubby from being overfed, but she’s already working on slimming down with daily walks and portioned meals. Mattie is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She’s ready to bring joy, cuddles, and love to a calm and caring forever home. —---- Looking to Adopt? Submit a Rescue Questionnaire! Please be thorough in your answers.
