My story

Don’t let the pirate name fool you—Jack Sparrow isn’t sailing the high seas, he’s quietly navigating the waters of trust. This strikingly handsome, fluffy boy wants to believe the world is safe… he just needs the right human to show him.Jack is hesitant at first, unsure if it`s okay to let his guard down—but underneath that cautious exterior is a truly tender heart. You can see it in his eyes: he’s ready to love, he just needs someone patient and kind to help him feel secure.With gentle encouragement, soft words, and a peaceful environment, Jack Sparrow will slowly start to come out of his shell—and when he does, it will be the most rewarding journey you’ve ever shared.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
