⭐🐾Pup Spotlight of the Day - Lily!🐾⭐Hi, I’m Lily. 🐾Imagine if a plush teddy bear came to life, learned how to give hugs, and occasionally did a goofy little puppy stumble...well that’s me!🐻I’m a year old, 44 pounds, and basically the perfect size for fitting into all the coziest spots…your lap, your side of the couch, or that sunny patch on the bed you swore was yours. When I cuddle, I don’t just sit there...I melt into you. Like lean my whole body into yours. Total boneless mode.I’m a gentle soul who will roll right over for belly rubs, politely sit for treats, and maybe let out a tiny howl now and then (purely for dramatic effect). I don’t bark, I don’t cause trouble. I just want to love you.🐾🩷If you’re into warm, floppy hugs and having a low-key shadow that follows you from room to room, I’m your girl.Lily is at the Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter in Danielsville. Come meet her, Wednesday-Saturday, 12-5pm or Sunday, 12-4pm.Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees:Dogs over 6 months old: $100Puppies under 6 months: $200.
