My story

Maple is a beautiful, mellow girl with a gentle soul and loving eyes. Originally adopted from us, Maple recently came back to the shelter after the passing of her beloved owner. She`s been through a lot of change, but she’s handling it with quiet grace and resilience.Maple enjoys soft blankets, sun spots, and peaceful companionship. She’s the kind of cat who will quietly sit near you, offering comfort just by being close. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
