My story

Meet Tilly! 🐾 Tilly is a young coonhound mix with a sweet heart and a curious spirit. She’s crate trained, knows how to sit, and is working on learning all the skills she needs to be a well-mannered young lady—she’ll just need a bit of patience and guidance along the way. Tilly absolutely loves people and enjoys spending time with her humans. She’s done well with a feline friend and is learning the ropes of leash walking like a pro. In the car, she’s a calm and easy passenger—she’ll either snooze, sit quietly, or look out the window (though she’s not one for sticking her head out into the breeze). Her favorite things include walks, trips to the park, and chewing on antlers and bones. With her affectionate nature and gentle temperament, Tilly will make a wonderful addition to a loving home ready to help her thrive. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog.
