This little guy rolled into the shelter on 7/17/25 with a broken back leg, but don’t let that fool you — he’s all gas, no brakes, and zero interest in slowing down. At just 5 months old, Rougarou is charming, wiggly, and already practicing for his future as a full-sized cuddle monster. His good looks are undeniable, his zoomies are legendary, and his enthusiasm? Imagine a roller coaster that never stops yelling “WHEEEEEE!” — that’s Rougarou. His leg is on the mend (he’ll just need it rebandaged twice a week for the next 3–5 weeks), but even with his temporary cast, he’s living life in the fast lane. He’s the kind of pup that turns every living room into a racetrack and every stick into a priceless treasure. Adopting Rougarou is like climbing into the front seat of a coaster — thrilling, a little chaotic, and full of joyful screams (some his, some yours).
