My story

Kia, one of a litter of seven Australian Shepherd mix puppies, unfortunately, is a double merle colored girl, inheriting genetic issues.  She is blind in one eye, although she doesn't appear to be deaf, which is another issue inherited with this gene.  Despite her genetic issues, Kia is a sweet girl, playful and affectionate.  We are looking for a special home for her, in which her new family will love her despite her one-eyed blindness. Please note:  You must live within a 175-mile radius of our facility to be considered for adoption. All our dogs and puppies are spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, Bordetella, and distemper/parvo, treated with flea/ tick medication, tested for heartworm and Lyme disease, and given a microchip before being adopted into their new homes. ##2469670##
