My story

Meet Rocky The handsome 8-month-old Lab/Shepherd mix! Full of youthful energy and curiosity, he’s ready to find a forever home where he can continue to grow and thrive. He’s lived with kids and cats before, though we recommend slow introductions with any new feline friends just to be safe. He’s a fan of car rides, enjoys his toys, and for an adolescent pup, he’s doing pretty well on the leash! While he’s had experience living with another dog (his brother), he tends to prefer not sharing his food—so feeding separately from other dogs is a good idea. He’s still learning how to navigate the world of adult dog socializing, so a meet and greet with any potential canine companions is recommended. No small dogs, please. With the right structure and continued training, he has the potential to become a fantastic companion for an active home.
