My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Bowser is a 4.5 year old, 77.5 lb, male Bluetick Coonhound with the most beautiful black and white speckled coloring. Bowser has long melty ears and  soulful eyes, that to fall in love with! Bowser loves to be around other dogs. He would do great in a home with another adventurous dog. Bowser loves a fenced in yard to run around in and would love to be walked and/or taken to the dog park. Bowser came to us as an owner surrender. He was a fearful dog at first, unsure of the changes in his life. He was somewhat protective in his previous home, barking and suspicious of strangers - especially unfamiliar men. We are seeing if that is lessening now that he is neutered and in a fenced in yard and getting lots of socialization. As he is settling in his foster home, he is getting very comfortable and happy. He's starting to do the zoomies in the big fenced in yard. If you've never seen a big hound do zoomies, you are truly missed an endearing sight! We are looking for a home for Bowser that can keep him active and also love his loungey houndy side too. Bowser is a special and sweet guy looking for just the right home!
