My story
Georgia O`Keeffe was transferred to Valley Humane on 7/24 from Oakland Animal Services. She had been in a home with too many other dogs! Georgia weighs 9.6 pounds. She is very loving with people and would love to be a lap dog.This pup arrived to VHS with a congenital malformation of her vulva. Her vulva was recessed or “hooded” and covered over by skin folds. This closed environment made her more predisposed to vulvar, vaginal and urinary tract infections. We performed a surgery to remove the overhanging skin fold and allow her vulva to be placed more normally on her body.
