Taffy

My story

Taffy. Taffy listened closely to his mother about being cautious of the big world. His mom was a community cat, and her life was cut short when he and his siblings were just 4 – 5 weeks old. But they came out of hiding looking for help. Taffy is a beautiful buff Orange Mackerel Tabby with striking white markings. Like his siblings he has dark gold/green eyes. And he is a plopper…they all are. They just plop down on their sides at the least provocation. Very silly. Taffy is a shy, introverted boy. He has made some big changes in the months since I’ve been caring for him, and while I believe he will make big strides in his confidence with the right adoption, he will always have a heighted sense of self preservation. He loves to sleep in the bed, he loves to get belly rubs and pets. He is super playful and has a strong food drive. All things that make it easy to help him in the big human world. Tuffy would do well in a quiet home. He has been out in the house, met the other cats and dogs, but it is just a little too chaotic and he will retreat to quieter spots. But when he sees me, he always comes forward for attention.
