My story

Brunch aka “mama” is a sweet little girl. Brunch is only 21lbs and the vet put her at 6 years old. She’s clearly suffered some trauma in her life, but you can tell she desperately wants to trust that humans can be good and kind. She’ll take some days to warm up, likely choosing the safety of her crate over being in your lap, but she’ll quickly become your shadow. She enjoys lounging on the couch or in the sun, but never further than an arms length away from her people. Food is pure joy for Brunch, especially hot dogs- she’ll be your best friend with just a few nibbles of a snack. She loves people, especially women, is good with dogs, and even tolerates toddlers (don’t we all)? Overall, she’s a perfect little scruff, who will make a fantastic friend for anyone looking to open their heart and home. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH.
