Nacho

My story

Well, they say Chihuahuas have opinions. That is certainly true of Nacho! He can be sweet as can be but then turn hot and spicy if you upset him :D He is always happy to see his humans. Arms outstretched, want to be picked up for hugs and cuddles right away. If you are a little slow in fulfilling that request, he tippy taps as if to say, 'hurry up already!'. He loves having guests :) Nacho loves to be held and carried around. He loves it even more when you pet him as you hold him and tell him what a sweet and good boy he is. Nacho is wonderful with dogs. He plays well with dogs his size or a little bigger. He likes to run and play chase with a buddy. The occasional wrestle is fine by him too. This is the sweet Nacho. Now the hot and spicy Nacho holds a grudge. Well, for like 5 minutes. For example, he hates nail trims. If you try to trim his nail, he will hiss at you. It doesn't matter that you stop trimming immediately and try to comfort him. He remembers what you tried to do. He will hiss even if you try to hold him to make amends. Best to leave him be to ‘cool off’. He will come around. He also does not like to be awakened from his sleep. He snarls and hisses (may even try to attack) if you wake him up before he is ready to wake up. Nacho is a year old, 10lb and looking for a one-person home where he can be a companion to the human. One person home because he tends to be protective of his human and space inside. Outside, he couldn't care less. Pampered, going places, that’s all on his must-have list. Doggie friends to play with is a huge plus.
