My story

Meet Licorice, a 2.5-year-old, 65 lb neutered boy with a big personality and even bigger brain. Licorice is extremely housetrained and already knows his basics—he’s quick to learn new skills and loves puzzle games that keep his mind busy. He’s an active pup who makes an excellent running buddy and absolutely adores swimming—he’s even been called the strongest swimmer among his volunteer friends! While he enjoys affection once he knows you, Licorice is also an independent soul who’s happy to do his own thing. He’d be a great fit for someone looking for a smart, adventurous companion who doesn’t need constant attention but will happily join in on outdoor fun.
