My story

Meet Lilly – a beautiful 2-year-old brindle hound mix with a heart as big as her floppy ears! Friendly, affectionate, and eager to please, Lilly is the kind of dog who’ll gently lean into you for pets and follow you around just to be near. She has that classic hound charm and soulful eyes that speak volumes. Lilly recently tested positive for heartworms, but thanks to our Angel Fund, the full cost of her treatment is covered. She’ll need to have her activity restricted for about 3 months during treatment, which means lots of leash walks, cuddles, and calm indoor time – something Lilly is more than happy to enjoy as long as she’s by your side. She has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines and flea/heartworm prevention. As with all New Leash dogs, Lilly is to be primarily an indoor companion with supervised playtime outside only and her adoption fee is $75. If you’re looking for a sweet and gentle friend to share your quiet moments and sunny afternoons, Lilly would love to be your girl.
