My story

From Forgotten to Family? Meet Drew. 🐾 Not long ago, Drew was just another nameless, faceless stray sitting in a shelter in southwest Virginia—his big, kind eyes silently pleading for someone to see him. And finally, someone did. Now safe in a loving foster home, Drew is blossoming into the incredible dog he was always meant to be. This 2-year-old black Lab mix is 80 pounds of goofy charm, tail wags, and pure devotion. He’s dog-friendly and greets every human like they’re the best person in the world—because in his heart, they are. Drew is the kind of dog who follows you from room to room just to be near you. He piles his toys like treasures in his bed, gets the zoomies after his favorite squeaky ball, and curls up for snuggles when the day winds down. He’s still figuring out this “leash manners” thing and thinks kitchen counters might be magical snack dispensers (we’re working on it 😊), but he’s house-trained, eager to please, and learning fast. He’s looking for someone who sees him, really sees him, the way he finally deserves—to give him a forever home filled with laughter, patience, long walks, and belly rubs.
