My story

💔 Hi… my name is Tootsie. 💔In 2018, I left this shelter as a wiggly little puppy, heading to what I thought would be my forever home. And for 7 wonderful years, it truly was. I had love. I had my dad. I had a life filled with all the little things that make a dog’s heart whole.But then my dad got very sick. He couldn’t take care of me anymore. One day, someone called Animal Control, and just like that… I was back in the place I thought I’d never have to see again.The shelter is loud. It’s cold. It’s not the warm, safe home I’ve known for so long. I don’t understand where my dad is or why I’m here. I just know I miss my family, my bed, and the sound of my person’s voice.I’m 7 years old now. Not the bouncy little puppy everyone lines up to adopt. But I still have so much love left to give, and I’m hoping someone out there will see past my years and into my heart.I’m spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and my adoption fee is just $50. All I need is someone to give me the second chance I never thought I’d need.Please… come meet me.
