My story

Mikayla is a young, tender-hearted girl who’s been through far more than any dog should. She came to us dirty, underweight, and clearly neglected—her life up to this point had been spent mostly inside a crate, with little care and even less love. But somehow, through it all, Mikayla’s spirit remains unbroken.She is absolutely starved for attention—not just food or comfort, but true connection. She leans in for affection, follows you with hopeful eyes, and soaks up every bit of kindness like she’s trying to make up for lost time. Her need to be close, to be seen, to be loved—it’s impossible to miss.Mikayla is discovering the simple joys of being a dog: soft beds, kind hands, and the freedom to move, stretch, and breathe. Every day she grows more trusting, more confident, and more ready to give her whole heart to someone who will never let her go.If you`re the kind of person who believes in second chances and healing through love, Mikayla will meet you there with all she has.
