My story

I’m a big, silly, loving guy who’s just looking for a soft place to land and a forever family to call my own. I’m about as friendly as they come — seriously, I’ve never met a stranger. If you’ve got hands, I assume they’re for petting me. I’ve grown up surrounded by people — including teenagers, guests, and neighborhood kids — and I love nothing more than being part of the family action. Whether I’m hanging on the couch, curled up in the family room, or sleeping outside my people’s bedroom door to stand guard, I always want to be close by. Here’s what you should know about me: 💛 My Personality: I’m energetic, affectionate, gentle, and super curious. I’ve been called a “sweet big puppy” by my neighbors — and honestly? That’s pretty accurate. I love playing ball, going for walks, and soaking up belly rubs. I walk nicely on leash and stick to your right side at your pace. 🦴 My Favorites: Fetch, snacks, my human siblings, and any kind of attention you’re willing to give. My dream day includes breakfast, a walk, cuddles, playtime with my ball, more cuddles, dinner, and falling asleep near the people I love most. 😄 My Quirks: Okay… I have a small obsession with socks and paper towels. If you leave them lying around, I may just sneak a taste (hey, nobody’s perfect). I also sometimes decide not to come when called — it’s about 80/20. I'm working on it! I also hate long baths, especially the rinse part — but I promise I’ll try to be brave. 🏠 My Home Life: I’m house trained, haven’t been crated in a long time, and I’m a total gentleman when guests come over. I’ve even been boarded a few times and always do well. I sleep wherever I feel cozy — on the couch, on my bed, or by your door. 💌 My Ideal Home: I’d love an active family — maybe with older kids or teens — who wants a goofy, loyal sidekick to share their adventures. A fenced yard would be awesome for fetch time. I do best with structure, love, and consistency — and a family that sees me for the gentle soul I am. My family loves me dearly, but their life circumstances are changing and they want the very best for me — a forever home where I’ll never have to wonder what’s next again. So, what do you think?
