Meet Bristol (A29805) – A Gentle Soul Ready to Bloom 🌸 Age: 1 year | Weight: 8.6 lbs | Spayed Female | Tortoiseshell Beauty Available Now for Adoption! Bristol arrived at the shelter on 7/29 as a terrified stray, too scared to come out of her transfer den. She was placed in our fearful & feral room, overwhelmed and shut down. But it quickly became clear that Bristol isn’t feral—just a deeply shaken house cat who had been through something traumatic. After a couple quiet days, she ventured out, and now she’s adjusted well to her new kennel in the main cattery. While she still prefers the comfort of her cardboard hideout and sometimes trembles when unsure, she no longer hides constantly. In fact, she's eager for pets once she knows who you are! With time, patience, and a little Churu, Bristol has shown her affectionate side. In the playroom, she climbed into a lap and stayed, shifting only to curl up closer. 💛 Bristol is seeking a calm, patient adopter who will let her settle in at her own pace. She’s already showing so much progress and has proven that she wants to connect—she just needs someone who will help her feel truly safe again.
