My story

Meet Lucinda “Lucy” – Your New Best Friend! Breed: Chihuahua DOB: December 31, 2024 Weight: 10 pounds Spayed, Healthy, and Ready for Her Forever Home About Lucy: Lucinda, lovingly called Lucy, is a gentle and affectionate little soul. At just 10 pounds, she’s the perfect lap-sized companion. She may be small, but she has a big heart and loves nothing more than cuddling up next to her favorite person. Calm and sweet-natured, Lucy enjoys quiet moments and is happiest in a peaceful home where she can be your shadow and snuggle buddy. Breed Info – Chihuahua: Chihuahuas are one of the smallest dog breeds, known for their loyalty, charm, and deep bonds with their people. Though often spirited and bold, Lucy is on the calmer side and thrives with gentle attention. Chihuahuas typically weigh 3–12 pounds and can live 14–17 years with proper care. They do best in warm environments and prefer soft beds, cozy blankets, and daily companionship. Owner Responsibilities: Provide regular vet care, nutritious meals, and fresh water Keep her warm, safe, and supervised—Chihuahuas are sensitive to cold and injury due to their small size Maintain her nails, teeth, and coat Offer love, patience, and structure, especially during her early puppy months Keep her indoors primarily and protect her from larger animals or rough play Things to Consider (Especially with a Puppy): Puppies require time, attention, and training Lucy will need a safe space to explore and rest Be ready for accidents, teething, and learning routines Consider your schedule, home environment, finances, and potential allergies Chihuahuas are indoor dogs and may not do well in chaotic or loud households Make sure your home and yard are secure (no escape gaps!) A Lifelong Commitment: Lucy is looking for a forever family—not a temporary stop. She deserves a home that will love her through every stage of her life, from puppy antics to sweet senior years. Dogs like Lucy form deep bonds and thrive with consistency, patience, and affection. Why Adopt Lucy? Lucy is the perfect match for someone seeking a low-energy, loving, and loyal companion. Her small size makes her ideal for apartment living, seniors, or quieter households. She will greet you with soft eyes, curl up in your lap, and remind you daily of the joy that comes with unconditional love. Lucinda is ready to bring warmth and calm into your life—will you open your heart and home to her?
