My story

Hi there, I’m Luna, the friendly, freckle-nosed Shepherd mix who can’t wait to meet you! At just 10 months young and a perfect 59 pounds, I’m at a great age—old enough to have good manners, young enough to keep you laughing with my clumsy zoomies from time to time. Everyone here says I’m “tri-color,” but if you ask me, I’m dipped in midnight black with caramel socks and a splash of whipped-cream white down my snout—a built-in tux for any occasion. I grew up around kids and other dogs, so playdates are my jam. Toss me into a doggy play group and I’m the social butterfly who keeps the peace and starts the fun. Volunteers call me their “easygoing superstar” because I greet every new face with a gentle wag and a hopeful nudge for ear scratches. Good news for you: I’ve already checked off the grown-up stuff. I’m spayed, heartworm negative, and current on all my shots, so your only job is to love me (and maybe share the couch). What do I dream about? Sunday hikes that end in a sunny nap, little humans giggling while I follow them like a shadow, and another dog buddy to chase in the yard—or just you, tossing a squeaky toy until we both flop down satisfied.
