My story

Jinx A17666359 lb. spayed female, approx 2 years old -Outside she was pretty chill and just wanted to wander around and sniff-I sat down on the ground and she immediately came over for pets. Pressed her whole body into me and then slowly sunk down until she was laying.-She loves pets and belly rubs-Showed some interest in toys and briefly played with a stuffy-She will sit for treats and eat them occasionally but doesn’t seem super food motivated-She does pull quite a bit on the leash but is better with a harness-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
