His sleek tricolor coat fades from soft black to brown to cream, and those bouncy ears and expressive eyebrows? Absolutely irresistible! Chuco weighs in at a solid 75 lbs, but he’s all lean muscle and love - especially when he's wiggling with joy for a good booty scritch! Despite being heartbreakingly surrendered due to his family’s deportation, he remains a happy, goofy, independent guy who’s ready for a fresh start. He’s potty trained, walks well on leash, and knows his basic commands - the perfect mix of chill homebody and ready-for-adventure buddy. Chuco’s looking for a forever home to bring him comfort, joy, and a second chance - could that be with you? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143     -3 year old black and brown American Staffordshire Terrier -75 pound male - not yet neutered b/c he had a little doggy cold at the shelter, but he can get this done soon; the shelter can likely help! -up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 6/30/25 as an owner surrender  -beautiful tricolor pup, with a soft black coat that fades into brown and then cream as you move down his back to his legs -a very big boy at almost 75 pounds, but lean and compactly built, except for his perfectly smooshable blocky head, with adorable eyebrows and bouncy floppy ears -one of many pups entering the shelter through no fault of their own - Chuco was unfortunately surrendered not due to any lack of love or care, but due to his family being affected by the recent deportations by ICE -despite this tragic separation, Chuco is a happy go lucky boy that will wiggle wiggle wiggle when he gets any scritches - especially a good booty scritch right above the tail!  -medium energy level, with an independent spirit - strikes the perfect balance between chilling at home and joining you on any adventures  -good on leash, potty trained, and already knows basic commands like sit   CHUCO’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/ttTxG6tBh6Q For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaa@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter.
