My story

Meet Jayco, a pup with a tender heart and a brave spirit who's come a long way since arriving at the shelter. Initially extremely shy and unsure, Jayco has been steadily gaining confidence thanks to the patience and love of our staff and volunteers. He's learning that the world isn’t so scary—he now enjoys gentle walks, quiet time in the sun, and even leans in for pets from people he’s grown to trust. Jayco is still figuring out how to play, but his playful side is blossoming, especially around other dogs. He’d thrive in a calm, patient home—ideally with a confident canine buddy to help show him the ropes.
