My story

Hi, I’m Allister, and I’m living proof that love can heal. I was rescued from a dog fighting ring and transported from a federal facility to safety. Despite everything I’ve been through, I’ve never let it harden my heart. I’m friendly with everyone I meet and have quickly become a shelter favorite thanks to my sweet, gentle nature. I do well with most dogs and, with a slow and respectful introduction, I’d likely be just fine with cats too. I’m not just a survivor - I’m a snuggler, a tail-wagger, and a loyal friend in the making. All I want now is a soft bed, kind people, and the chance to finally just be a dog. Could you be the one to give me that?
