My story

Hi there! I’m Solar ☀️ — your future best friend and personal shadow. I’m a sleek black panther (well… in my mind) with a heart as big as the sun I love to bask in. I’m super sweet, incredibly friendly, and I adore people. I might be a tiny bit shy when we first meet — just a little! — but it won’t last long. Give me a minute (and maybe a lickable treat) and I’ll be jumping up on your leg asking for pets like we’ve known each other forever. Yep, I do that — jump on your leg when I want attention. I'm not subtle, and I’m definitely not quiet! I’m a proud chatterbox and will let you know exactly when it’s time for cuddles, treats, or a good lap session. I'm a true lap cat who thrives on affection and quality time. I’m a huge fan of treats (especially the lickable kind), I sploot like a pro when I nap (arms and legs all stretched out like a little loaf of sunshine), and I LOVE to sunbathe. I also get along great with other cats and enjoy a good romp during playtime. Honestly, I’m like a dog in a cat’s sleek, shiny body — affectionate, social, and totally loyal. If you’re looking for a sweet, talkative, treat-lovin’ cuddle buddy, I think we’re meant to be. Let’s start our forever together, come meet me any day between 1-5pm — I’ll be the one waiting in the sunbeam. I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to that understands it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I adjust. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell - I really am a wonderful cat. I am fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, FIV&FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor only home and as with all cats - absolutely no declawing.
