Hope is an adorable 9-week-old puppy weighing just 8 pounds, with a soft brown and white coat and a whole lot of spunk. She may be small, but she’s bursting with personality. Hope is the clumsiest little pup in the cutest way, constantly tumbling over her own feet during playtime. She loves her toys, especially tug of war, and she’s always ready for outdoor adventures—she’s definitely a little tomboy at heart!Hope is very sweet and submissive with other dogs, often greeting them with a wagging tail while belly-crawling toward them. She currently lives with a foster dog and has done great meeting others, though she may be a little timid around overly playful pups at first. She has also met a cat a couple of times and did well, showing curiosity while respecting their space. While she hasn’t been around children yet, she’s young and adaptable. That said, Hope isn’t the cuddliest puppy—she prefers playing over being held and can get frustrated with too much hugging or kissing. Her foster is working on redirecting those puppy nibbles to appropriate chew toys. She’s doing fantastic with house training for her age—about 80% of the way there—and once you learn her schedule, she’s a breeze. She doesn’t have separation anxiety and is fine being out of sight. Hope travels to work with her foster every day, so she’s already had lots of exposure to new people and environments. She handles loud household noises like a champ and even does well at the vet!Hope is a happy, smart, medium-energy pup who’s eager to please and enthusiastic about learning. If you’re looking for a fun, spunky companion who will keep you smiling and laughing, Hope is ready to be your girl!
