My story

ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Nari Age: 8 Months old Gender: Male Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Corgi Jindo mini mix Colour: Light brown Weight: 7.8kg / 17lbs Microchipped: Yes   MY RESCUE STORY Hi, I’m Nari! I’m not quite sure how I ended up in the city pound, but I remember feeling scared and confused. Things were looking really bleak for me—I was even put on the euthanasia list simply because there wasn’t enough space. But just when I needed a miracle, some incredibly warm-hearted rescuers came to my aid and gave me a second chance at life. Now that I’ve been saved, I’m ready to leave the past behind and find my forever family—a loving home where I can finally feel safe, cherished, and truly belong.   MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete)  I’ve been spayed and have no known health issues.   MY PERSONALITY When you meet me, the first things you'll probably notice are my soft, chocolate-brown fur and big, expressive ears—they kind of have a personality of their own! I’m a sweet, gentle boy at heart. I can be a little timid at first, especially in new situations or around new people, but give me just a bit of time and patience, and you’ll see my affectionate side shine through. Once I feel safe, I’ll come right over to ask for gentle pets and attention. Volunteers and staff always praise how friendly and loving I am once I open up. If you give me the chance, I promise I’ll be your loyal best friend for life.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People:  I tend to be a little shy when meeting new people, but don’t worry—it doesn’t take much to win me over. A few tasty treats and some patience go a long way with me. If you let me warm up at my own pace, you’ll soon see just how affectionate and sweet I can be. Once I see you as a friend, I’ll gladly come over for pets and soak up all the love you have to give. Surprisingly, I have a soft spot for kids, too! I do especially well with thoughtful, gentle children who understand how to be kind and respectful. I also have great manners around food and never guard my meals from people.   With Dogs: I absolutely love meeting new dog friends and playing together—it's one of my favorite things to do! Since I’m still a young pup, I’m learning my social manners and figuring out how to navigate doggy interactions politely. I tend to feel most comfortable with dogs around my size, as we’re often on the same wavelength when it comes to energy and play style. With the right introductions, I’m sure to make lots of furry friends! I also don’t guard food against my friends.   With Cats:  I haven’t had the chance to meet any cats yet, but I’m friendly by nature and believe I could learn to welcome them into my family — especially with slow, gentle introductions and plenty of patience.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I’ve got that classic high puppy energy! I love to run around, explore, and play—it’s how I experience the world. Once I’ve had a chance to burn off some of that excitement, I’m more than happy to settle down and snuggle up indoors with you. Even though I’m still young and active, my energy isn’t overwhelming—it’s just the fun, bouncy kind you’d expect from a growing pup ready to learn and bond with my forever family.   TRAINING & HABITS Since I’m still a young pup, I’m learning how this big, exciting world works. I would thrive with a family who understands that I’m a work in progress and is ready to guide me with patience, consistency, and lots of love. I’m still figuring out leash walking—I tend to pull toward things that catch my attention, and when I feel scared by loud noises or fast-moving cars, I’ll flatten myself to the ground to feel safe. I may bark to get your attention, but I also know how to rest calmly in my kennel when it’s time to relax. I potty both indoors and outdoors, though I do like to mark new places—what can I say, I’m a curious young guy and want everyone to know I’ve been there! I have so much potential and a heart full of love. With a gentle introduction to my new home and plenty of time to decompress, I know I’ll blossom into a confident and well-mannered young man. At first, I’ll need extra security—double leashed with both collar and harness—just to keep me safe while I settle in. With the right family by my side, I’m ready to grow, explore, and share all the love I have to give.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help guide and let me become my best self. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family who can provide me with a calm, structured, and safe environment. A family who likes to do outdoors activities and spend time together. A family who is willing to shower me with love and affection. A family who understands that I’m still just a young pup, full of potential, and is willing to guide me with patience, kindness, and love as I grow into the confident young man.   SPECIAL NOTES I may be young, but I’ve already been through a lot—and I’m so ready for a fresh start. I’m still figuring things out, like how to walk confidently on leash, how to feel safe in new environments, and how to trust that this time, I’m really home. What I need is a loving family who understands that I’m still learning and is willing to guide me with patience, kindness, and a whole lot of love. With the right support, I know I’ll blossom into a loyal, well-mannered, and happy boy. I have so much potential, and I can’t wait to share all of my heart with the forever family who gives me the chance to shine.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Nari's Youtube Playlist ##2474343##
