Quick Facts • Name: Modong• Age: About 5 months old (Born February 2025)• Gender: Male• Neutered: Yes• Breed: Corgi–Jindo Mix• Color: Brown• Weight: 6 kg / 13 lbs• Microchip: Yes• Available to fly: August 2025   My PersonalityHi there, I’m Modong!My journey started in a very unexpected place a wildfire zone in Korea. Thankfully, kind humans rescued me from danger, and since then, I’ve been safe, loved, and learning all about the big world around me. I may be small now, but my heart is full of curiosity and potential. I'm still a young pup, so every day brings new experiences, new friends, and new things to sniff! I share my foster home with my sibling Mona, and between us, I’m the slightly more mellow one. Some might say I’m a thoughtful little guy I like to take my time, observe first, and warm up at my own pace. But once I trust you (and maybe you have a treat or two!), I’ll be your sweet companion in no time.   My Social Life• With People: I can be a little shy at first, but offer me a snack and you’ll win me over quickly. Once we’re friends, I’m happy to be picked up and held. I haven’t met young kids yet, so I’d do best in a home with adults or older children who are gentle and kind.• With Other Dogs: I love dogs both familiar faces and new friends! I enjoy saying hello and inviting them to play. I’m very social in that way.• With Cats: I haven’t had the chance to meet a cat yet, so we’re not sure how I’d respond.   On My WalksI’m a balanced pup. I love going outside and playing, but I’m also great at winding down and relaxing afterward. I’m still learning how to walk nicely on a leash. My training has just begun, but I’m a quick learner and I’m doing my best. With time and patience, I’ll be a wonderful walking companion.   Life at HomeI don’t guard my food around humans or other dogs, though during mealtime, I get a little excited and try to eat quickly. If I’m sharing space with another pup, just keep an eye on me so I don’t sneak their portion! When I want something, I sometimes express myself with a few excited barks but only because I’m still learning how to ask nicely. I use both indoor pee pads and go potty outside too.   My Ideal HomeI’d love to join a family who’s ready to raise a young pup and help me grow into the amazing dog I’m meant to be. A home with another friendly dog would be wonderful since I love canine company. I’m still shaping my personality, and I have so much love to give. With kind guidance, positive training, and lots of cuddles, I’ll thrive. I may have started life in a tough place, but my heart is full of hope.
