You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Dr. Doofenshmirtz! That's a big name for a tiny dude! He may be small, but he has a BIG personality!!! He is SOO friendly and outgoing. He is the first to run to the door to greet you. He loves to explore and to play. He is very soft and loves to be picked up and cuddled. The kids in his foster home carry him around like a baby. When he's not cuddling, you can find him playing with the other kittens or playing with his toys. He has such a fun personality, he is guaranteed to make you laugh! He's about 3 pounds and was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina. He has gorgeous slick hair that's shiny black and very soft. He's an awesome kitten all around and he's excited to find a home of his very own! (Preferably with some cats or dogs to play with!)  This cat is neutered, up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up 'curb side'. Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *     DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:  Initial vet visit Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)Distemper vaccinationSNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart wormBroad spectrum dewormers Monthly flea/tick preventative Ear mite preventative The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity.
