Spike is a handsome domestic short hair kitten, born on April 6, 2025. He has a sleek, jet-black coat and extra soft fur. He also sports an exceptionally long tail. Spike is a little miracle—he is the sole survivor of his litter and came into foster care at just a few days old, weighing only 2.2 ounces. Being such a tiny orphan came with some challenges, and one of them is that Spike developed a strong need to suckle. While he’s making progress, he still suckles, so he’ll need an experienced cat person who can be patient and understanding as he continues to grow out of this behavior. That said, Spike is a 10 on personality. He’s affectionate, loyal, playful, and downright hilarious. He is a monster lap kitty. If you sit, he will jump in your lap and begin his thunderous purr. He would love to have a kitty companion in his forever home to romp and play with. He is used to kitties of all ages and has been raised with 3 small to medium size dogs. They all get along well.
