My story

Kind Kenzie is a special older puppy who is a beautiful, silky soft Border Collie mix girl that just wants to hug you all the time, every day. This 10 month old, 40 pound, gorgeous teenager pup is so beautiful inside and out.  She just loves to hug you around the neck when you have been  Gone for the day.   She is living with a 10 year old boy, 4 dogs and a dedicated foster mom who sometimes works from home.  Kenzie has all the herding traits that the Border Collie breed displays.  Foster mom Jennifer will tell her to go out in the yard and round up the other dogs to come inside and she does just that!   She is pretty much housetrained and meets new people very calmly.   She is decent on a leash but doesn't get walked on one daily due to a wonderful fenced yard at her foster home.  She has been around a cat and doesn't bother them  at all.   So many great qualities to mention about this girl who can be an only dog or a companion sibling to another.  She loves to play with Children and dogs alike.  Her spirit is curious, loving and concerned that everyone around her knows she loves them.   If you love this brown And blue eyed girl and embrace the Border Collie intelligence and ways, then email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    Tell us where you live, city And state.  We are located in Nashville, TN and transport on weekends to the northeastern states.Z        A Note from Kenzie Hi there! My name is Kenzie, and if no one's told you today—you're amazing. I mean that. I’m the kind of pup who likes to make sure everyone around me feels loved. That’s just who I am. I’m about 10 months old, 40 pounds, and people say I’m a Border Collie mix with the softest coat and the warmest eyes (one brown, one blue!). I think what really makes me special, though, is my heart. When you come home after being gone—even if it's just to the mailbox—I will hug you around the neck. It’s my way of saying, “I missed you. I love you. I’m your girl.” I live with a foster family right now: a 10-year-old boy, a few fun dogs, a nice cat I don’t bother, and a foster mom who works from home sometimes. She says I’m incredibly smart—she tells me to go bring the dogs in from the yard, and I do it! (I might be a little proud of that.) I’m almost fully housetrained, calm when I meet new people, and pretty polite on a leash. I don’t go for many walks, though, because I have a big fenced yard to run around in. I love playing with kids and dogs alike, but I’d also be happy as your one and only. More than anything, I just want a home where I can be close to my people, share hugs, chase a ball or two, and be told I'm a good girl. I promise—if you give me your heart, I’ll give you mine every single day. Hope to meet you soon.Love, Kenzie  Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com Don’t forget to tell them your city and state! I’m in Nashville, TN—but I can catch a ride to the Northeast any weekend!   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 28, 2025, 11:38 am
