My story

STELLA the star 🌟 ✨💫 Say hello to gorgeous STELLA Star! She’s a two year old golden retriever mix who’s ready to find a family! STELLA Star came from a home with an owner who struggled with mental health issues. She was unable to give STELLA a clean or stable environment so the owner’s daughter reached out to see if anyone would like to rehome her. So off STELLA Star went to a lovely new family! They gave her care and comfort and showed her people can be trusted and really wonderful. Sadly, their home has cats and STELLA just can’t help but be a bit too rough with them. So she finds herself again, needing a new home. Good news for STELLA, she’s a total catch and she’s now with the best rescue around! STELLA Star is a sweetheart! She does perfectly with older kiddos and adults. She can be shy at first but give her a treat and a back scratch and she’ll be your best friend! STELLA Star is living with another pup, a high energy Aussie, and they are a perfect pair! STELLA can keep up with running and rough housing no problem. Her foster mom says the Aussie friend really helped STELLA feel safe in her new home. STELLA has a high prey drive so as we said before, no kitties in the house for her. She is crate trained and house trained! She walks well on a leash. She even knows a few tricks like sit, paw, and uppies! This golden girl is happy, healthy, and absolutely adorable!
