My story

How this pet arrived: Sissy was brought in by her previous owner. Why Sissy might be the one for you: Sissy is a big, friendly senior who's looking for a loving home, that can be her retirement home. She is ready. Sissy is the epitome of a gentle soul, friendly to everyone she meets and not reactive to other dogs. She's well-mannered and seems to prefer being indoors. She is house trained as she does her business in the yard. A doggie door, giving her access to a yard might be high on Sissy's checklist for her new home. She is in a foster home where her foster parent describes her as calm, gentle and mellow. She is too big to fit on her person's lap so she knowingly plops down next to her person and puts her head on his lap. Sissy's calm demeanor and loving nature make her perfect for anyone seeking a low-energy, affectionate dog. There is one exception to Sissy's calm demeanor and that is when she is left alone for long periods. She does not like that. She is a homebody and she wants a homebody human.
