My story

At just 1 year old, Lathan is a big-hearted pup with an even bigger personality. With his goofy smile and expressive face, he’s the kind of dog who makes you grin without even trying. Lathan enjoys taking his time on walks, savoring every sniff and soaking in the outdoors like it’s his job. He may be a little shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, he’ll gladly lean in for snuggles—and might even try to climb into your lap for kisses if you let him! This lovable guy is very food-motivated, and his booty hits the floor the second he hears a treat bag crinkle. He already knows how to “sit” like a pro and is always eager to learn more, especially if treats are involved.Lathan has met other dogs at the shelter, he can be selective with his friends, and will need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.Whether he’s exploring the outdoors, showing off his silly grin, or curling up for a cuddle, Lathan is ready to bring joy, laughs, and love to his forever home.
