My story

Meet Bluey, an 8-month-old Terrier mix whose stunning ice blue eyes inspired his name. Bluey’s gaze isn’t his only memorable feature—his beautiful champagne-colored coat shimmers in the light, making this young pup a true standout. Once abandoned in rural West Virginia, Bluey now greets every day in rescue with enthusiasm, finding joy in even the smallest moments. He loves the company of dogs of all ages and would especially thrive in a home with a playful canine companion. Bluey is also wonderful with children, faithfully following the toddler in his foster home like a gentle and loyal shadow. In a household with two very independent cats, Bluey is polite and highly respectful of their boundaries. Blueyis  crate trained and house trained, though he may have a few accidents as he settles into a new environment. On walks, Bluey sometimes flutters about with puppy curiosity, but he’s eager to learn and determined to please.
