My story

Meet Dakota! If you’re looking for a sweet and low energy guy with a janky smile, Dakota is your man! While initially nervous in new situations, he warms up quickly and just wants to be a snuggle bug. Dakota is thought to be a Pekingese mix and is six years old. While he’s not a puppy he certainly isn’t an old man yet either. He loves to explore the backyard as much as he loves to nap next to his foster mom. He gets along well with his foster sisters (dogs). He is learning how to walk on a leash, play with toys, go potty outside, and walk up and down stairs. He’s been with his foster mom a very short time (as of this writing) and she fully expects he’ll learn these things quickly. Dakota is an absolute love bug and will make a great addition to a home that will continue to teach him the joys of being a dog! Dakota is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, has received a dental with extractions, heartworm negative, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is just $300.00.
