Meet Little Pam — A Gentle Soul with a Heart of Gold Rescued alongside her mama and siblings from a high-risk shelter, Little Pam is one of those rare pups who quietly steals your heart. At just around 10 weeks old and 11 pounds, Pam is a soft, dark gray sweetheart with subtle brindle hints and the most endearing white markings on her chest and face. She’s still growing and, thanks to her pittie/German Shepherd mix roots, is expected to be a larger dog—likely over 50 pounds full grown.Pam is a sweet, sensitive pup who takes her time to assess the world. A little shy at first, she warms up quickly—especially when kind voices and gentle hands are involved. Once she feels safe, she offers the sweetest little tail wags and becomes a devoted cuddle bug who seeks your approval in the most humble ways. She absolutely loves other dogs, especially her sister and the big 50-lb foster dog she follows around like a shadow. Pam thrives in the company of other pups and gains confidence by observing and mimicking their behavior. Her playful side comes out in full force during games of chase, gentle wrestling, or zoomies through the yard. And when it’s time to cool off? She loves splashing in shallow water and showing off her adorable “stick stealing” antics.Pam lives with two cats in her foster home and respectfully tries to win them over (though they’re not quite ready for her charm yet). Around children, she’s gentle and polite—more of a wallflower at first, but she’ll slowly and sweetly make her way into the circle. She does especially well with calm, respectful kids who give her the time and space she needs to blossom.Pam is medium energy—playful but not overwhelming—and responds well to “no” if her curiosity gets the best of her. She’s crate trained (sleeps through the night with her sister), is working on house training, and is already learning basic commands by watching her doggy friends. She rides perfectly in the car and naps quietly during long road trips. Ideal Home: Pam would do well in a quieter home with gentle, understanding humans. She’s a flexible pup but would thrive with another dog who can help build her confidence. A home with calm children or adults who appreciate her sweet, sensitive nature would be perfect. She doesn’t need a loud or busy environment—just a safe, loving space to grow into her best self. Best Quality: Pam’s quiet humility and gentle spirit. She doesn’t demand attention—she earns it with patience and trust. Her independent yet affectionate nature makes her an easy and rewarding companion. If you’re looking for a soft, soulful pup to love and grow with, Little Pam may be your perfect match. She’s ready to find her forever people—and promises to love them deeply and gently. Apply at bcaaofnj.orgInterested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application!
