My story

Tywin is a deeply affectionate and loyal gentleman who just needs a little time to feel safe—once he does, he becomes incredibly cuddly, devoted, and adoring. He may be 13 years old, but you’d never guess it by his energy and zest for life. He’s living proof that age is just a number! Despite his senior status on paper, Tywin behaves like a cat in his prime. He’s playful, alert, and full of life, and we believe he has many more happy, healthy years ahead of him. He’s looking for a forever home where he can spend those years loved and cherished. Important Medical Note: At age 12, Tywin was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Fortunately, he received the gold-standard treatment—I-131 radio-iodine therapy—this year. While we’re still awaiting the final test results, all signs point to success: Tywin has been off medication since the treatment and is showing no signs of thyroid issues. If he does need medication moving forward, it’s expected to be minimal, and he’s wonderfully cooperative with liquid meds—or will often just eat them in his food. Tywin is ready to share his love with someone special. Could that someone be you?
