My story

Thank you for your interest in adopting Rocco. Rocco lives in Montevallo Alabama Foster home and will leave us when he is adopted. Distance is not an obstacle! We FaceTime with the Adopter so you can see your pet and learn about them in real time. We have been adopting dogs and cats to families over 15 years. Rocco was rescued from a feral cat feeding station. People have dumped their friendly and social cats there for years when they abandon them. We cannot leave a cat like Rocco behind. Rocco is estimated 12-18 months. He weighs about 10.5 pounds. He has lived in a small apartment where he is fostered with other cats. In Rocco‘s defense, he could use a little more exercise and he’d get that in a bigger space. He is litter pan trained, playful with toys and feline friends. He has never marked. He loves to groom his female cat friends or kittens. And when he grooms a kitten, that kitten better wait until he is finished! Rocco is a great example of what a therapy cat can be. Rocco has not been exposed to dogs that we are aware so we prefer to go to home with no dogs. Rocco is neutered, combo test negative, FVRCP, rabies, dewormed, microchip, and he receives parasite prevention. He comes with his medical records. This handsome cat with his bold stripes is worth adopting! Long distance, to Northeast or New England is $225.00 , which includes transportation that we pay for and a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian.
