ROMEO*

My story

Romeo came to us originally as a stray from a feral mom, and was quickly adopted into a new home. He received tons of love and affection from his family, but unfortunately was not comfortable around the resident dog. He has lived with children and done well, as well as other cats. Because Romeo is a bit shy, especially after his second trip to the shelter, a very slow and thoughtful introduction would set Romeo up for success in his next home. He has gorgeous eyes, and a wonderful gray tabby coat. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
